NEOS LOG April 2022

Michelle was busy finishing up her final semester at William Jessup for her masters in education. Her task this quarter was to write a thesis. Huge task and she comes over for a little guidance once a week to help her out. The gang took a hike together to China Bar. Great day.

A little late, but we took Beth and Ryan out for a birthday lunch to Cracker Barrel. Tired of embroidery, I have turned to knitting. I made a poncho for myself and then made one for Karissa, Michelle and Beth.

Karissa had a special day with us and she wanted to go to the mall. We gave her some money and she spent it all in the same little jewelry/knick knack store. Then we had lunch at Panda Express.

Rog went to the Bay Area with karate friend, Jay, to see Jim Sagawa. On the way back they stopped on to see another karate friend in the East Bay.

Karissa came over to color eggs and we did tye dye. They turned out great. She also made name place settings for Easter breakfast.

Max is now working at REI so he was able to join us for Easter breakfast but Karissa was on her own for the egg hunt. She had the whole yard to herself and had quite a chore finding all 2 dozen eggs. We had lunch at Zauchas and caught up on our busy lives. Rog finally got himself a new horn for the van and installed it. Getting Tess all spruced up for the big road trip.

Rog and Ryan took a load to Rocklin’s free dump day. At the end of April we picked the kids up from school during minimum day schedule for parent-teacher conferences. At the end of April, Rog took a hike with Eric and Karissa right through downtown Roseville.
