Rog started the month out with a set of hearing aids. Wish all of my patients were as easy as he is! He is able to wear them all day and is having no problems at all. And he hears everything.
We got Ryan and Beth to the airport for their trip to Cancun and then got to take care of Princess, their dog, until they got back a week later.
Our craft project with the kids was making mason jar rainbows. We used different liquids, dyed them different colors and added them to a jar. They turned out pretty neat.
Our neighbor came over and told Rog that a widow around the corner was selling off her husband’s tools so they took a ride to her place and Rog ended up buying a bandsaw. Ryan came over with his truck to help us get it home and then let us use the truck to take Rog’s La-Z-Boy down to have it reupholstered by his niece’s husband in Elk Grove.
Knowing that we would only have a week after the trip to Japan until we started the road trip to the East Coast, Rog wotked on the van. We now have upper cabinets and a new set of speakers.
Most of the month was spent anticipating our big trip to Japan starting on March 24. The week before we left, we were able to share a movie date with the Zauchas and had the Nordstrums and Remaleys over for cards.
Before we knew it, the 24th was here and we were on the way to the airport for a 17 day trip to Japan. You can read all about it on our blog under “JAPAN”.
